So the SOPA act is getting more and more serious everyday and today many websites are fighting Congress. Five of my favorites, Google, Wikipedia, Reddit, Wordpress, and Flickr have joined the fight today and have censored their sites for the day. Sebastian Waters

Sebastian Waters is an Information Architect at Aperto, Editor at DMIG and an all around Gentleman. I stumbled across this German designer's work on Tumblr and found his flickr and immediately fell in love with his work. The photographs all have this beautiful eerie feel to them and with most of them being a square crop they hold your attention with the vivid color and odd compositions. What really attracted to me to Sebastian's work was his sketchbooks. Now most artist's sketchbooks are for personal use but Sebastian's most beautiful work is in this little album he carries around and fills in airports, parks, studios, anywhere.

Occupy London protesters camped outside St Paul's have been backed by Massive Attack and Radiohead's Thom Yorke at a "secret" gig.

The artists wanted to "thank" activists protesting against corporate greed.

A small audience of about 100 people saw the performance at an undisclosed location in London.

Protesters moved into St Paul's Churchyard on 15 October, Finsbury Square on 22 October and an empty bank building in Hackney on 18 November.

Tim Goldsworthy, of the collective Unkle, also performed at the gig for a downloadable album.

Failed talks

The activists said the set would be available online from Wednesday.

Their demonstration is part of a worldwide movement, which began on New York's Wall Street.

Last month, the City of London Corporation resumed legal action against the camp, after talks failed in attempts to remove them.

The corporation said it had received complaints about "late-night drinking and other worrying trends, so it's time to act".

"Lawful protesters who stand or walk are a regular part of London," said Stuart Fraser, policy chairman of the corporation.

"But tents, equipment and now, increasingly, quite a lot of mess, is not what a highway is for and others are losing out."

Other celebrities who have backed the protesters' campaign include fashion designer Vivienne Westwood.

the completed book is finally finished and printed.

So I went for a journey to find a unique object that stuck out to me more than the everyday trash. A found object is an important part of an artists’ journey. A found object is an item that creates a staircase in the artists mind in order to make a process of its own while migrating itself through a conceptual and formal odyssey.

This journey took my feet to a nearby dumpster, one from previous excursions, I knew would have an object that would appeal to me. I reached in and found a pneumatic transducer. The name, shape, and complexity alone, was enough for me to grab it. This object measures water pressure through electricity. After 50 experimentations I created this process book to show my conceptual progress over the course of the two months.

This book is a chronological timeline of my process and analysis of this object. It begins with the introduction of the object and the process leading to the breaking and studying of this item. The broken object leads to an abstraction of its parts and personal studies of color, shape, and geometric forms. The studies range from woodworking paintings where color plays a large role, to abstraction of basic shapes to create dynamic compositions that reconstructs into the original object in a new formal study.
